True Lovers of the Papacy: Why We Will Never Separate from the See of Peter

Defending authentic fidelity to the Papacy, this article explains why true Catholics remain inseparable from the See of Peter.

CHURCH TEACHINGS

Due to our unyielding fidelity to the dogma of the Papacy we unfortunately must accept the reality that today the Chair of Peter is vacant. It is important to clarify that it is our love for the seat of Peter, the Rock of the Catholic Church, that forces us to accept this challenging reality.

It is for holding tightly to this neglected dogma, that our anti-Petrine enemies declare us doomed, schismatic, and "excommunicated." This all means nothing to us since we cannot be "excommunicated" from people with whom we have no communion. We hold the Catholic faith, it is the one faith the modernists reject and abhor for its exclusive nature and doctrinal consistency. It is precisely because we are true lovers of the Papacy and guardians of truth that we are treated with scorn by all those attatched to false religions and their demons. These men, who believe all are saved so long as they are

"well meaning" and who officially accept and pray with all non-catholic and even non-christian religions absolutely cannot accept, tolerate and much less pray with us who hold the Catholic Papacy as a supreme and perfect institution.

The novus ordite Papacy

The popular notion of the Papacy since Vatican II is essentially that the Pope is only to be listened to and even acknowledged when he says or does things that agree with one's own personal views or opinions. For the Novus Ordite, the Pope can be totally disregarded and even mocked when he is slightly offensive to what they consider true, be they charasmatics or conservatives. The papacy for such people is reduced to a subjective institution, having no actual or definitive authority over the subject(s).

As protestants are with the bible, Novus Ordites are with the papacy. As in protestantism the subject reading the bible gets to make of it what he pleases, the Novus Ordite is free to act in the same manner with the entirety of the papal acts.

As the protestant makes himself a magisterial authorty (since only the Magisterium can interpret scripture) the Novus Ordite likewise makes himself up to be a magisterial authority with the ability to determine even the "orthodoxy" or "lack thereof" in official teachings of the Pope (as if such a thing were possible with the reign of a true Pope).

This is nonsese since "the First See is judged by no one” (Pope St. Gelasius I, Epistle 8, Duo sunt). Our faith teaches that "The Roman Church has never erred, nor will it err to all eternity, according to the promise of the Lord”(Pope St. Nicholas I). The subjects under this Authority have absolutely no power to determine what they will accept and reject from the See of Peter since in this See there is only to be found pure and wonderful good over which absolutely no man has authority.

We cannot share such wretched notions about the papacy since “In the Apostolic See the Catholic religion has always been preserved immaculate” ( St Augustine Letter 43)."The

Church of Christ [that is led by the See of Peter] has never failed nor can she ever fail (Pope Pius XI — Mortalium Animos). Cardinal Billot, S.J:

“The Apostolic See is the proximate and infallible rule of faith."

To truly love the papacy

Unlike these fraudulent enemies of the Papacy we adhere firmly and unwaveringly to the divine institution (seat) of the Papacy as defined and taught by the Catholic Church for nearly two thousand years. Despite all the attacks against this devine institution we know that “the See of Peter, the Prince of the Apostles, remains firm in authority.” (St Gregory the Great, Epistle V, 20)

With St Jerome we “follow no leader but Christ and join in communion with none but your blessedness, that is, with the Chair of Peter." We do this because with the saint we "know that this is the rock on which the Church is built” (Letter 15 to Pope Damasus).

We sleep easy with a fidelity that rests upon The Rock, that is the Papacy itself. The Rock is a never changing solid foundation which Catholics can follow without doubts or questions regarding its stability. The institution stands above Catholics not the other way around. It was not set up to be judged by the subjective standards of individual men, but to be "set over all Churches, so that it may correct what is wrong and confirm what is right" (St Gregory the Great Epistle V, 20).

We have no authority to judge the Papal acts since they are infallibly safe. We know that when “Rome has spoken; the case is concluded” (St Augustine Sermon 131).

Our Rock is the indefectible Chair established by Our Lord Jesus Christ as the visible principle of unity in faith and governance.

We have a special mission as Catholics today to will defend this institution and its divine prerogatives, refusing to accept counterfeit notions of papal authority that contradict Catholic teaching.

Far then from separating ourselves from the See of Peter, we maintain attached to her, it is the Novus Ordo system which has departed from the true doctrine of the Papacy, reducing it to the level of a natural institution and claiming that by it souls may be lead to hell.

For this reason it is of great importance that the faithful entrusted to the MMHT are constantly reminded that the position we hold (regarding the present vacancy of the seat) does not amount to a denial of the existence of the institution of the Papcy itself but rather is out of fidelity and love for the Seat of Peter.

The Divine Institution of the Papacy

The Papacy is not a human invention, nor is it a merely administrative office subject to doctrinal evolution. It is a divine institution founded by Christ Himself:

“Thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)

From this promise flows several dogmatic truths solemnly defined by the Church, especially at the First Vatican Council:

The Pope is the successor of St. Peter by divine right.

The Roman Pontiff possesses supreme, full, and immediate authority over the whole Church.

The See of Peter is indefectible; it cannot formally defect from the faith.

The Pope, when teaching the universal Church, is protected from error by the assistance of the Holy Ghost.

These truths are not optional theological opinions. They belong to the deposit of faith and bind the conscience of every Catholic. When one reads the official works of the Magisterium promulgated by the authority of the many Vicars of Christ one is amazed to see that it is as though one man is responsible for all the texts despite the difference in time and circumstances surrounding them. This is the protection of the Holy Ghost, as we know "it is impossible for God to lie" and hence by the acts of the Magisterium "we may have the strongest comfort." (Hebrews 6:18)

The Indefectibility of the Chair of Peter

As true lovers of the Papacy we must defend the central dogma inseparably linked to the Papacy: indefectibility. The Church, founded on Peter, cannot teach error to the universal Church since the “See of St. Peter always remains untainted by any error, according to the divine promise of our Lord and Savior made to the Prince of His disciples…”(Vatican I Pastor Aeternus, ch 4, 1870). This protection applies not only to rare ex cathedra definitions, but also to the ordinary and universal Magisterium, by which the Church has consistently taught doctrine throughout the ages.

To claim that the Chair of Peter has promulgated new religions, new doctrines, or practices previously condemned by the Church would be to deny this dogma outright. Such a claim would imply that Christ failed in His promise, that the gates of hell prevailed, and that the visible Church ceased to be a reliable teacher of truth. This is impossible. This is against the dogma of the papacy, we want nothing to do with these sentiments.

Defending the Papacy

The Sedevacantist position does not arise from a rejection of papal authority, but from an uncompromising submission to it.

The Catholic principle is clear: a public heretic cannot possess or retain ecclesiastical office, especially the supreme office of the Papacy. This principle is taught by Scripture, the Fathers, theologians, canon law, and the constant practice of the Church. As taught by Pope Paul IV: “If ever at any time it shall appear that any bishop, even the Roman Pontiff, before his promotion or elevation… has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy, the promotion or elevation shall be null, void, and without force" (Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio 1559). And hence under the Pope's orders we know "it shall be lawful for all persons to withdraw obedience and allegiance."

Cardinal Cajetan said simple: "Heresy separates a man from the Church; therefore a heretic

cannot be head of the Church.” (De Comparatione Auctoritatis Papae et Concilii)

Authority in the Church is ordered to the preservation of the faith; it cannot coexist with its destruction. Therefore, when individuals publicly promote doctrines condemned by the Church—such as religious indifferentism, ecumenism as taught by Vatican II, collegiality, or the denial of the Church’s exclusive claim to salvation—they manifest themselves as outside the Catholic faith. Such men cannot be true Popes, not because the Papacy has failed, but because God does not permit the Papacy to be the instrument of error.

That the seat of Peter is presently vacant is evident since we cannot attribute doctrinal corruption to the See of Peter itself.

The Further Novus Ordo Error Regarding Papal Authority

The Novus Ordo system presents a fundamentally altered concept of the Papacy. On the one hand, it demands absolute obedience to men who promulgate doctrinal novelties; on the other, it simultaneously empties the Papacy of its traditional meaning by redefining its authority as pastoral, fallible, and subject to change.

In this system:

Papal teachings can contradict prior magisterial teaching.

Universal disciplines can be harmful to souls.

The ordinary Magisterium can err for decades.

The faithful are emboldened to “interpret” papal teaching.

This is not Catholicism. It is a denial of the Papacy’s divine protection.

Ironically, those who accuse us of “rejecting the Pope” are themselves forced to explain how Popes can teach error, promote false worship, and undermine the Church—while still claiming to be legitimate successors of Peter. Such a position destroys the Papacy in practice, even if it claims to defend it in name.

Out of our Love for Peter and the dogma of the papacy, we want nothing to do with these sentiments.

The Papacy as the Visible Principle of Unity

The Papacy is the visible bond of unity in the Church—but unity in truth, not unity in contradiction. The Church has never taught that unity can be preserved at the expense of doctrine. St. Paul himself resisted St. Peter “to the face” when Peter’s actions caused confusion, yet he never suggested that Peter could authoritatively teach error.

True unity requires:

One faith, taught everywhere and always.

One visible authority that cannot defect.

One Church, not a plurality of theological factions.

The Novus Ordo world, fractured into competing interpretations and “traditionalist” enclaves within a modernist structure, testifies to a system devoid of true unity. The pre–Vatican II Church, by contrast, exhibited a remarkable doctrinal and liturgical unity precisely because the Papacy functioned as Christ intended.

That there is no true Pope today is evident in the lack of unity that exists even among true Catholics. Woe, we pray this vacancy end soon!

Why We Will Never Separate from the See of Peter

We will never and can never even for a second separate from the See of Peter because “Ubi Petrus, ibi Ecclesia, Where Peter is, there is the Church.” (St. Ambrose, In Psalmum 40, §30 (PL 14:1134).

We know that contrary to the Novus Ordites view, the Papacy:

was established by Christ,

Is indefectible,

And cannot be the source of heresy or false worship.

Obedience is due only to legitimate Catholic authority. Which the false claimant in Rome today cannot be since he adheres to and teaches doctrines condemned by the Church.

To refuse submission to a false claimant is not schism; it is fidelity. To deny that a heretic can be Pope is not rebellion; it is Catholic doctrine.

We do not abandon the Chair of Peter to attach ourselves to a wolf in sheeps clothing. We remain with the Papacy and have nothing to do with a counterfeit.

Standing firm

As True lovers of the Papacy we do not adapt its meaning to accommodate error(s). We defend it as the Church has always taught. In a time of unprecedented confusion, we stand with the saints, theologians, and Popes of history who understood that the Papacy exists to safeguard the faith—not to destroy it. We know from this very faith that the this institution is sacred and therefore can never work in a self-sabotaging manner.

Until God, in His providence, restores the visible occupancy of the Chair of Peter by a true Roman Pontiff, we remain steadfast in our adherence to the Papacy in its purity, integrity, and divine authority. We continue our obedience to the Catholic Bishops who are the legitimate successors of the apostles and we pray daily for the a Holy Roman Catholic Pope.

O Lord Grant us a Catholic Pope,

O Lord Grant us a Holy Catholic Pope,

O Lord Grant us a very Holy Roman Catholic Pope!

PRAYER TO ASK GOD FOR A LEGITIMATE SUCCESSOR OF SAINT PETER

Lord Jesus, Thou art the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls (1 Peter 2, 25), who, in Thy infinite mercy, deigned to place Thy blessed Apostle Saint Peter as the foundation of Thy Church (Mt. 16, 20); We humbly beg Thee to grant us a true and holy Pontiff to guide Thy Church and ensure its unity.

Look, Lord, the enemy has entered Thy vineyard and seems to have destroyed it; woe for we trust in Thy promise, that Thou would be with Thy church until the end of time. Yet these ravenous wolves have dressed in sheep's clothing and aim to devour Thy flock (Mt. 7, 15). They have usurped and outraged the Temple of Thy Glory, they have defiled the Petrine ministry. Deign to listen to the supplications and groans of Thy faithful, so that unity returns to Thy Church under a single Shepherd (Jn. 10, 16). Grant what we now ask o Lord that we may again see clearly Thy Kingdom in Glory and Majesty on the face of the Earth. Thou who livest and reignest with the Father in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, forever and ever. Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Oh Mary, Queen of Apostles, pray for us.

Saints Apostles Peter and Paul, pray for us.
